Services for Charles Comstock, 76, of 1900 38th St., West Des Moines, who died of cancer Thursday at Fountain West Health Center, will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Hamilton’s Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Winterset Cemetery.

Mr. Comstock was born in Madrid and had lived in Des Moines most of his life. A Navy veteran of World War II, he had worked for the former Iowa Packing Company for 34 years and for Deluxe Check Printers Inc. for eight years.

Survivors include his wife, Lillian; a son, Francis of Pontiac, Mich.; a step-daughter, Barbara Frederick of Marshalltown; a sister, Cora Crump of Ankeny; 10 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
