LENOX, IA. — Services for Forest “Bud” McVay, 79, of Lenox, who died of cancer Saturday at home, will be at 2 p.m. today at Coen-Beaty Funeral Home in Creston. Burial will be in Moon Cemetery in Macksburg.

Mr. McVay was born in Audubon County and was a retired farmer.

Survivors include his wife, Velma; seven sons, Duane of Anaheim, Calif., Calvin of Lorimor, John of Cedar Falls, Larry of Riverside, Calif., Mike of Phoenix, Ariz., Daniel of Dike and Abraham of Winterset; five daughters, Helen Finnegan of Phoenix, Patricia Ambrose of Kent, Judi Tull and Beth Ripperger, both of Afton, and Kathryn Craig of Casa Grande, Ariz.; 42 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
