Omer Smith, 57, farmer living 6 miles northwest of Lorimor, passed away at the home of his brother, Jay Smith Wednesday afternoon after a lingering illness. Mr. Smith had spent all his life in the neighborhood where he died. He is survived by three brothers, Jay, Lewis and Millard all of Lorimor. Funeral services were held at the Macksburg Methodist church Friday afternoon at two o’clock, with the Rev. C. M. Rowe officiating. Interment was made in the Macksburg cemetery.
