William Hough of 1501 East Walnut, after a brief illness of two weeks, passed away at the family home in this city at 11:00. He had resided in this city for many years and was known for his sterling worth.

He leaves a wife and five children. The children are: Mrs. Thomas Jay, Mrs John Jay, and Mr. Oscar Hough of Des Moines; Mrs. Augusta of Tacoma Washington, and Mrs Frank Hough of Adair. Funeral arrangements will be made later.
