CUMMING, IA.—Bernice Hanrahan of Cumming died of a heart ailment Thursday at Regency Care Center in Norwalk. She was 78. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Johns Catholic Church, and burial will be in St. Patrick’s Irish Settlement Cemetery.

Mrs. Hanrahan, a homemaker, was born near Norwalk and was a member of the Catholic Church.

Surviving are her husband, Tom; and a sister, Irene Graham of Norwalk.

Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at St. Johns Hall, where a vigil service will be at 7 p.m. Caldwell-Brien-Robbins Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
