ROXANNE PICKENS WILDIN

Roxanne Pickens Wildin of Des Moines, Iowa, was born on April 8, 1955, to Everett Berdean Pickens and Beverly Mae Anderson Key. She passed away on Friday, March 23, 2012, at Mercy Hospital, after a long battle with Multiple Sclerosis.

Roxanne was a loving wife, mother and homemaker. She liked to draw and paint. She raised Shar-Pei dogs. Her favorite was Pumpkin.

Roxanne is survived by her mother, Beverly Key of Stover, MO; daughter Rebecca Stonehocker of Creston, IA, and grandson, Blake Stonehocker; son, Nathan Farris of Indianola, IA, and grandson, Benjamin Fenton; stepdaughters, Brandie (Dean) Harper of Afton, IA, and their children, Santana Farris, Justin Rieker and Adam Lemke and Stephanie (Shannon) Wetterling of Osceola, IA, and their children, Shyanne, Taylor and Shanna; siblings, Margo (Bill) Camp of Stover, MO, Shan (Butch) Davis of Des Moines, IA, Robbie (Kyle) Campos of South Dakota, J. R. Campos of Illinois, Lynn (David) Gay of Grimes, IA, and Rose Nelson of Des Moines, IA; and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her father, Everett Pickens; husband, Harm Farris; sons, Eldon and Jason Farris; and niece, Linnea Camp.

Roxanne will be cremated, and a private family graveside service will be held at the East Peru Cemetery in Peru, Iowa, at a later date. Honorary pallbearers are Michael Camp of St. Louis, MO, Bryan Camp of Westchester, IL, Jay Camp of Stover, MO, Andy Campos of Minooka, IL, and Ron Reed, III, of Hopkinsville, KY.
