Funeral services for John Edward Minard, 65, were held Fri., Nov. 16 at Kale Funeral Home, Truro, with Pastor Jim Patrick officiating. Minard died Wed., Nov. 14 at his home.
A lifelong resident of the Truro area, he was born June 25, 1925 to Clyde Anderson and Mabel Nellie (McClure) Minard and graduated from Truro High School in 1942. He married Jeanne Black on July 7, 1946 in St. Charles. He was a farmer, a mechanic for the Interstate 35 schools and attended the Broadhorn Church in Truro.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Surviving are his wife and a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, David and Belva Streyffeler of Hollister, Miss.
Burial was at the St. Charles Cemetery.
