Selma W. Radke, Van Meter

Services for Selma W. Radke, 79, Van Meter, who died April 3 at the Madison County Memorial Hospital, were held Saturday, April 7, at the Trinity Lutheran Church at Van Meter with the Rev. Raymond Fecouer officiating. Burial was at the church cemetery.

Born in Jefferson township in Madison County on February 5, 1911, she was the daughter of Herman and Ida Bernau Radke. She was a seamstress and was a lifetime resident of Van Meter, and was a member of the Ladies Aid, the Madison County Farm Bureau and 4-H.

Survivors include a brother, Carl Radke of Van Meter and seven nephews and eight nieces.

She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers.
