Robert Dean Daniel, 54, of Weston, Mo., formerly of Winterset, died Tuesday, April 17, 2012, at the Veterans Hospital in Kansas City, Mo.
Visitation was held Friday, April 20, at Fox Funeral Home in Licking, Mo. Burial was held Saturday, April 21, at Williams Cemetery in Licking, Mo.
Robert was born on March 22, 1958, in Iowa City, the son of Floren and Marjorie (Shoemaker) Daniel. He graduated from Winterset High School in 1976. After high school he enlisted in the Marines. Later in life he married his wife, Tammy.
He was preceded in death by his father, Floren (Shorty) Daniel; brother, Ken Moore; sisters, Mary Smith and Kathryn Matlage; and aunt, Gladys O’Reilly.
He is survived by his wife, Tammy; his children, Levi, Whitney, Daniell and Brett; his mother, Marjorie Underwood; a brother, Larry Daniel; sisters Virginia Brownrigg, Sarah Conley, Linda Bulock and Barbara Berry; and six grandchildren.
