Metro, Page 9Alice C. Lose, 95, of 3416 Fleur Drive died of a heart ailment Thursday at Charter Community Hospital. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Christ The King Catholic Church, of which she was a member. Burial will be in St. Patrick’s Irish Settlement Cemetery near Cumming.
Mrs. Lose was born in Pocahontas County and had lived in Des Moines most of her life. She had been a homemaker and a charter member of the Altar and Rosary societies.
Surviving are two daughters, Bonita Neswold of West Des Moines and Katherine Ann Johnston of Des Moines; four sons, Robert of Cumming and Louis, Edward and John, all of Des Moines; a sister, Rose Croat of Johnston; 31 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Friends may call after 3 p.m. today at Caldwell-Brien-Robbins Funeral Home, where a rosary will be recited at 7 p.m.
