Old residents of Winterset will be saddened to hear of the death of Mrs. Ramsey Atchison in Kansas City, following an operation for removal of a goitre which has troubled her for years.
Mrs. Atchison is survived by a son, John Brown, and a daughter, Mrs. Jennie Brown Chapin, both of Kansas City,
The remains arrived here Tuesday morning and funeral services were held on Tuesday afternoon at the home of the deceased, followed by burial in Winterset cemetery.

Mrs. Ramsey Atchison, aged resident of Winterset, died at the home of her son, John Brown, Sunday morning in Kansas City. Mrs. Atchison had been in failing health for several years and had recently undergone an operation for goiter but had apparently recovered from it. Her death was due to other causes.
The body was brought to Winterset Tuesday morning and the funeral was held at her home in the east part of the city. Mrs. Atchison had lived many years in Winterset and was highly esteemed and loved by all who knew her. She was sixty-eight years old.
