Mary Mardis Stonedale, 87, of 2807 Grand Ave. died of a stroke Tuesday at Madrid Home for the Aged. Services will be at 3 p.m. today at Dunn’s Funeral Home. A private burial will be held in Winterset Cemetery there.

Mrs. Stonedale was born in Des Moines and had lived here since 1966. She previously lived 37 years in Minneapolis, Minn. She was a homemaker and had been a member of First Christian Church.

Survivors include two sons, Robert M. of Houston, Texas, and John M. Miller of Columbus, Ohio; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Friends may call until service time at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to First Christian Church.
