Services for Ruth G. Kurtzweil, 86, of 1101 Crocker St., who died of a heart ailment Sunday in Springdale, Ark., will be at 1 p.m. today at Hamilton’s Funeral Home. Burial will be in Winterset Cemetery in Winterset.

Mrs. Kurtzweil was born in Winterset and had lived in Des Moines for 35 years. She retired in 1970 as a clerk for Younkers Department Store and was a member of Kingsway Cathedral.

Survivors include a daughter, Patricia Hays of Sprindale, Ark; a sister, Ethel Mitchell of Des Moines; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Friends may call today at the funeral home.
