Mrs. Charles (Mary) Prohaska, Faribault, Minn.

Mrs. Charles (Mary) Prohaska, 99, of Faribault, Minn., died on Tuesday, Dec. 6, at the Pleasant Manor Nursing Home.

Funeral services were held on Friday, Dec. 9 from the Parker-Kohl Funeral Home in Faribault with the Rev. Richard Townsend-Anderson, pastor of the Congregational United Church of Christ officiating. Interment was at the Earlham Cemetery in Earlham, on Saturday, Dec. 10.

Mary Gladys Howard, the daughter of Moses and Melissa Rush Howard, was born in Banner County, Neb., on May 6, 1889. She was married to Charles Prohaska on Jan. 24, 1906. He preceded her in death in 1962. Mrs. Prohaska had lived her adult life in Earlham, and moved to Faribault in 1974.

She is survived by a daughter, Helen Scott of Gilette, Wyo.; grandsons, Robert Creighton of Faribault and Frank Lee Jr. of Riverton, Wyo.; five great grandchildren, John Lee, Georgia Dawn Lee, Joyce Stadler, Carol Coughlin and Janet Klouse; and seven great great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a son, George in 1969.
