Services for Charlotte Clara Smith, 68, of Mitchellville, who died Tuesday at Iowa Methodist Medical Center, will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Ankeny, with burial in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery at Van Meter.

An autopsy has been scheduled.

Mrs. Smith was born in Madison County and had lived in rural Mitchellville since 1947. A former teacher, she had been a homemaker since 1946. She was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church and taught Sunday School there for 30 years.

Survivors include her husband, Floyd D.; a son, Dean E. of Mayfield, Minn.; two brothers, Harold E. Eichner of Pomeroy and Earl C. Eichner of Indianola; and three grandchildren.

Memorial contributions are suggested to her church.

Friends may call after 3 p.m. today at Hamilton’s Funeral Home.
