Claire Martin, son of Mr. and Mrs. F. E. Cosand, was born in Des Moines Dec. 27, 1918 and died at the home of his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. L. M. Delaplain in East Peru, May 3, 1920, from pneumonia, following an attack of measles.
He is survived by his father and mother, one sister, Miriam, four grandparents, one great grandfather and two great grandmothers; besides numerous other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held at the home of his grandparents, conducted by Rev. J. O. Smith, after which the little form was laid to rest in the Peru cemetery.

DeYoung of Laurens, Mrs. Bert Delalplain and Miss Bernice Delaplain of Scranton, Mrs. Ethel Rhodes of Jolley, Mrs. Emma Saunders, Mrs. Anna Donaldson, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Lutter and Mr. Gibson of Des Moines; and Mrs. A. B. Gray of Boone.
