Linda Young passed away on March 16, 2012 at her home in rural Warren County. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, March 24, 2012 at the Peru Cemetery in East Peru, IA.
Linda was born in St. Marys, IA on June 3, 1954 to John and Velma Young. All her life Linda was very independent, strong, and self-reliant. She loved her home, her cat Micah, the St. Louis Cardinals, and riding her motorcycle. She was an expert quilter and an avid reader and cribbage player.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Marilyn Herrick. No immediate family survives but Linda is very greatly missed by her friends and neighbors.
