Death of SYLVESTER F. PIXLER

Ves Pixler, who lived for many years south east of Patterson, died on Monday evening at his home in Wick, where the family located when they sold their farm some years ago.

He had a severe attack of flu-pneumonia about a year ago which left him with impaired health. Mrs. Pixler is a sister of Mrs. Clark Maxwell of this place.

S. F. Pixler

S. F. Pixler, of Wick, died at his home Tuesday morning at five o’clock. His death was caused by acute indigestion which also affected his heart.

The funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p. m. at the Methodist church here at St. Charles and interment in the cemetery at this place.

Mr. Pixler was well known in St. Charles and vicinity and was a man highly respected by all who knew him. The News joins with the many friends in extending sympathy to the bereaved wife and children and other relatives. —St. Charles News.
