MRS. EDWARD FIELDER

The community was very much shocked on Monday to hear of the death of Mrs. Ed Fielder and a little babe, from the effects of the flu.

Mrs. Fielder was born in Altoona, Iowa, Aug. 13, 1878 and died Feb 8, 1920, at the age of 41 years, 5 months and 8 days at her home in East Peru. She was united in marriage to Edward Fielder, at Altoona in 1914. To this union were born two sons, James and Henry, who with her husband and three brothers, remain to mourn her death. Her father, mother, one sister and one brother preceded her to eternity.

She was a faithful member of the Christian church and was the life of the home where she will be so sadly missed. She was patient in her suffering and expressed herself as willing to depart this life.
