FUNERAL SERVICE HELD FOR MRS. ELIZABETH SMITH

Funeral services for Mrs. Elizabeth Smith were held Sunday, Feb. 7th at the Methodist church in Macksburg with Rev. C. M. Rowe in charge. Mrs. Smith passed away Feb. 2nd at the home of her daughter Mrs. Vera Moffitt in Des Moines where she had been living for the past fourteen years.

Mrs. Smith was postmistress in Macksburg for 18 years after the death of her husband E. T. Smith. In 1939 she moved to Des Moines.

Burial was made in the Moon cemetery.
