EARNEST WILSON

Earnest Edward Wilson, only son of Mr. and Mrs. John M. Wilson, was born in Madison county, Iowa, on Feb 5, 1892 and died after a long illness of typhoid fever, Jan, 3, 1920, at his home in Kimball, S.D., aged 27 years, 11 months.

He was converted in the year 1912 in a revival meeting at the Maple Grove church, conducted by C. M. and Hattie Edgington and from that time he has lived a clean honest Christian life. He made a complete consecration in his illness and was resting in the will of God ready for God;s will to be done. His last words were: “Lilly, I am going to rest.”

He leaves a wife and baby boy, Victor E. Wilson, age 16 months also father, mother and five sisters. We humbly bow in submission to the will of God and say the Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away, blessed be the name of the Lord.

Funeral services were held from the home, conducted by Rev. T. Bowen, speaking from 2nd Cor.1, Rev. R. J. Eling of Northville, S.D. , brother in law of the deceased, also added a few words of comfort. The remains were laid to rest in the Kimball cemetery.
