Mrs. Laidley Services Set

Services for Mrs. Vernie M. Laidley, 76, of 146 E. Douglas Ave., who died Thursday of cancer at the Highland Park Nursing Home, 3620 Fourth St., will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the Arnold Highland Park Funeral Home. Burial will be at Earlham at 11:30 a.m.

Mrs. Laidley, born in Winterset, lived here 45 years and previously in Panora for seven years. She was a member of Highland Park United Presbyterian Church, Auburn Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star and Mount Olivet White Shrine.

She is survived by two sons, Max C. of Des Moines, and Robert A. of Redding, Cal.; two sisters, Mrs. Edith Fritz of Menlo and Mrs. Arthur Herrell of Des Moines, and three grandchildren.
