Mr. Berry and his family made their home for many years near the old Kasson church. The land where the church was built was given by his father for that purpose.

In the spring of 1907 the family moved to Ft. Scott, Kan., and lived there until 1917, when they moved to Missouri, where they have since made their home.

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Forrest Kellogg of Columbia, Mo., in the Fellowship church at three o’clock, Aug. 28 and he was laid to rest in the Hamblin cemetery. Six nephews, Lyle Edwards, Frank Edwards, Tom Edwards, Wilbur Smith, Frank Smith and Earl Smith acted as pallbearers.
