Mrs. Ollie Peel Dies in Omaha

Former Madison County Resident Passed Last Friday

Mrs. Ollie Peel, a native of Madison county, died at her home in Omaha last Friday at the age of 69 years. Death was due to a stroke.

Mrs. Peel was the former Olive Beem, daughter of Richard and Elsie Newkirk Beem, and was born and reared in the Buffalo neighborhood south of Winterset. As a young woman she went to Des Moines where she was married to Patrick Peel, who survives her.

In addition to her husband, she leaves two sons, Lloyd and ---- Peel of Omaha; one daughter, Mrs. Elsie Datwyler of Los Angeles, Cal.; three grandchildren and one great grandchild. One daughter, Mary, preceded the mother in death. She also leaves two brothers, Walter Beem of Winterset and Newton Beem of Los Angeles; and two sisters, Mrs. Sadie Mendenhall of Kansas City, Mo., and Mrs. Maude Smith of Winona, Miss.

Funeral services and burial rites were held in Omaha Monday.
