Mrs. Frank Rhone passed away Monday morning. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the Barney church. Mrs. Iva Farr and Mrs. Ethel Weaver cared for their mother during her illness.

MRS. F RHONE DIES AT AGE 80

Was Former Lydia Simpson, Two Daughters, Four Sons Survive

Mrs. Frank Rhone, 80-year-old resident of Madison county, died Monday of last week, following an extended period of ill health.

Lydia Ann Simpson, the daughter of Antipas and Harriet Simpson, was born near Red Rock, Marion county, Iowa May 31, 1861, and died June 30, at the age of 80 years and one month.

She was married to Frank Rhone on December 5, 1878 and to this union was born six children, four sons and two daughters, all of whom survive and were present except George of Montana.

Surviving are the children, Mrs. Iva Farr, Mrs. Ethel Weaver and Clyde Rhone of Peru, Ivan and James Rhone at home, George Rhone of Straw, Montana; eight grandchildren; six great grandchildren; five brothers, Robert Simpson, Calona Colorado; Will Simpson, Churchville; John and Elias Simpson, Lorimor; Thomas Simpson, Los Angeles, California; one sister, Mrs. George Keys, Billings, Montana; many other relatives and friends.
