BURIAL SERVICES FOR FRANK SHEARER WERE HELD AT BLAIR CHAPEL
Frank Shearer, a resident of the Blair Chapel vicinity for many years, died at a hospital in Des Moines last Thursday. Funeral services were held in Des Moines and the body was brought to Blair Chapel for burial Saturday afternoon. A number of the local Masonic order attended the graveside rites.

Francis Marion Shearer, son of Noah and Nettie Shearer, was born in Madison county, Iowa, Nov. 4, 1875, and departed this life April 3, 1941 in Des Moines, Iowa at the age of 65 years, five months.
On June 19, 1910, he was united in marriage to Anna E. Wilson. He is survived by his wife, one son Dennis and a niece, Sydnia, who has made her home with them since she was two years of age. He also leaves his aged mother, Nettie Shearer of Winterset, Walter of Colfax, Minnie Jackson of Knoxville, and Ollie Jackson of Des Moines.
Easter Sunday, 1938, he united with the Fort Des Moines Presbyterian church. Funeral services were conducted April 5th by Rev. W. S. Harries, his pastor, assisted by Rev. L. P. Cassel, pastor of the Baptist Tabernacle.
Funeral services were conducted from Hamilton’s services in Des Moines and interment was made at Blair Chapel near St. Charles.
