Thomas D. Glenn, of Union township died last night following a stroke of paralysis or apoplexy. He had not been in the best of health for some time but was about his work as usual when stricken yesterday evening. He was stricken while working at the evening chores in the barn and was found by Mrs. Glenn soon after. He lived but a few hours.
The family moved here from Illinois some years ago and bought what is known as the old Sumner farm one mile north of Winterset. Mrs. Glenn and her son survive the father.

Went to Barn and was Stricken With Paralysis. Body Taken to Michigan for Burial
Thos D. Glenn, a prominent farmer, of Union township, was stricken with paralysis, in his barn, at noon yesterday. Mrs. Glenn discovered the barn door open and on going to the barn discovered him lying in a stall. He was carried to the house and died at 7 o'clock.
Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at Ramsay's undertaking parlors. The body will be taken to his old home at St. John, Michigan.
Mr. Glenn was one of the most respected and best known farmers in the county. He has lived in Madison county about ten years. He is survived by his only son and his wife.
