WILLIAM WHEELER DIED SATURDAY AT HOSPITAL IN IOWA CITY
William Wheeler, an elderly resident of St. Charles, passed away Saturday at the hospital in Iowa City where he had been taken for medical treatment, some ten days ago. The family had lived in town less than two years, but he had been more or less an invalid during this time, and was only able to get around by walking with crutches.
The body was taken to the E. Carl White funeral home in Des Moines and funeral services were held at the Methodist church in St. Charles Tuesday afternoon. Mr. Wheeler is survived by his wife and several children.

A large number of relatives and friends were in attendance at the funeral services for William Wheeler on Tuesday afternoon of last week. He is survived by thirteen children, all of whom were present. Burial was made in the St. Charles cemetery.
