Arthur Nicoson, 48, of Rolfe, passed away at the hospital in Iowa City Wednesday, July 27th. He had been in the hospital at Fort Dodge 329 days, recovering from burns received when a pan of floor wax he was melting on the stove ignited and flamed over him. He also leaves his mother, Mrs. Margaret Nicoson and one sister, Mrs. Ilo Chandler, both of near Mitchellville, two brothers, Angus of Chicago, and Sam of near Rolfe.

Funeral services were conducted Friday afternoon at the Methodist church by Rev. E. L. Patterson, with the six member of the school board at Rolfe serving as pallbearers.
