News of Interest from St. Charles

Friends here received word last week of the death of Charles W. Minard at his home in Denver, Colo. Mr. Minard was past 60 years of age and will be remembered here by many people, as many years ago, he was one of our home town boys. He graduated from the St. Charles high school with the class of 1893. He afterward married Miss Laine Henderson, a native of Nebraska where they lived for awhile, later moving to Denver. He is survived by his wife and several children. Also, one sister, Mrs. Alice Schultz of DeSoto, three brothers, Clifford of DeSoto, John of Truro and Clarke of Davenport, Neb.
