Mrs. Joseph Weil Died at Home in Grimes Sunday Morning.
The death of Mrs. Joseph Weil of Grimes early last Sunday morning was a surprise to the people of this community inasmuch as her condition had greatly improved the past week. Mrs. Weil had been ill from weakness of the heart, but a paralytic stroke brought the end early Sunday morning. Her funeral obsequies were held at the Holy Trinity church in Des Moines at nine o’clock last Tuesday morning and interment was made in St. Patrick’s cemetery in Lee township.
Mrs. Mary Weil was the daughter of Mrs. Mary Doheny, and was born and reared in Lee township, but after her marriage lived in the vicinity of Waukee. Besides her aged mother, she leaves to survive her, two sisters, Mrs. C. F. Weil of Martensdale and Mrs James Couch of Patterson and her husband.
