Word was received here last Monday evening of the death of Mrs. Maurice Lynch, at her home near St. Patrick’s church, Lee township. Mrs. Lynch has been in very poor health the past six months, and was for a time in the Mercy hospital.

MRS. M. LYNCH OF LEE DIED MONDAY

Mrs. Maurice Lynch, 64, died at her home in Lee township, in the Irish Settlement, St. Patrick’s, Monday evening, following an illness of several months. Mrs. Lynch suffered a stroke several months ago and since that time had been bedfast.

Mrs. Lynch was the former Catherine Gill and was born April 5, 1873 and lived all of her entire life in Lee township. She was married to Maurice Lynch and they were the parents of five children, Mrs. John Weil of Churchville, Mrs. Lucy LaStrange of Des Moines, Mrs. Marie McLaughlin of Cummings, James of Cummings and Maurice who lives at home. Her husband died about a year ago.

Funeral services were held Wednesday morning at nine o’clock in the St. Patrick’s church, conducted by the pastor, the Rev. J. J. Judge. Burial was made in Mount Olivet.
