AMY ROSELLA KOBOLDT LEGGETT, Earlham

Amy Rosella Koboldt Leggett, 90, of Winterset, formerly of Earlham, passed away January 1, 2012, at the West Bridge Care and Rehab Center in Winterset. Graveside services will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday, January 5, 2012 at the Earlham City Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the Kuhn Funeral Home in Earlham.

Amy was born July 26, 1921, to Harry and Martha Allen Koboldt, in Boone County, Iowa. Amy attended grade school at Beaver, Iowa, before moving to Earlham, with her family, and graduated with the class of 1938. In 1948, she was married John E. Leggett, in Miami, Florida. They retired to Earlham in 1968.

Amy was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Martha Koboldt, husband John E. Leggett, brothers, Earl Koboldt and Wayne Koboldt, sisters Pearl Kolboldt, Myra Spencer and Mae Martens, all of Earlham.

She is survived by her sister, Nina Davies of Oskaloosa and a host of nieces and nephews.
