MRS. ROBERT CRAWFORD DIED THURSDAY NIGHT AT AGE OF 82 YEARS

Mrs. Crawford, widow of the late Robert Crawford, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Frank Trumbauer, last Thursday night in the 82nd year of age. Mrs. Crawford had been an invalid eleven years, and was confined to her bed for the past eight years.

Funeral services were held Saturday at the Patterson church, and interment was made in the McGinnis cemetery west of Patterson.

Mrs. Louisa L. Crawford

Mrs. Louisa L. Crawford was born in Manard county, Illinois, on July 31, 1854 and died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. F. A. Trumbauer, near Bevington, Iowa, August 6, 1936 at the age of 82 years and 6 days.

When 11 years of age she moved to Madison county with her parents, John and Jane Stith and has been a resident of this County ever since, excepting 14 years spent in the Black Hills, South Dakota. She was united in marriage to Robert J. Crawford of Patterson, February 20, 1875. To this union was born one son, C. W. Crawford of Winterset.

On March 27, 1884 she was united in marriage to John E. Collins of Rapid City, South Dakota. Three children were born to this union, two sons and one daughter; Harry E. who preceded her in death in 1905, Fred L. of Pueblo Colorado, and Eldora Blanche of Bevington.

Mrs. Crawford had made her home with her daughter and husband, Mr. and Mrs. F. A. Trumbauer, since 1907. She was an invalid for almost 11 years, but she never complained in any way of her physical condition.

Funeral services were held at Patterson Methodist church, conducted by Rev. E. L. Patterson. Interment was made in the McGinnis cemetery near Patterson.
