On Tuesday afternoon of last week occurred the funeral service of Mrs. John Bechtel, Jr. The service was conducted by Rev. Howard at the Bechtel home. Mrs. Bechtel's death resulted from pneumonia, following the influenza.

She left a baby son a week old, besides two little daughters and a husband to finish the journey of life without the love, care and counsel that only a mother and wife can give. The young husband, the motherless children, the mother, brothers and sisters all have the sympathy of the whole community in their sad loss.
