Clayton L. Koon, a brother of Mrs. E. E. Wasson and Mrs. J. M. Young of this county, died on last Friday at his home in Hutchinson, Kans. He will be remembered by many of the early settlers of this community as a son of Justice Koon, one of the county's pioneer families. He left here about thirty years ago, and has since made his home in Kansas. His final illness and death was the result of Bright's disease.
