This time it was the second son of Powers and Nora May Inman.

Glen Russell came into their home on May 10th, 1904 while the family were residing near Sheffield, Iowa, and in 1907 they moved to their farm near Earlham at which place they still reside.

Glen when a small boy gave his life into the keeping of the Christ. He with his brother was converted in a children’s meeting conducted by Rev. John Mills, when pastor of the Earlham Friends Church. He joined the Friends Church and has been faithful in his Christian life.

He was a clean, manly boy, kind to all he met and especially kind and attentive to the members of his own household. He was a good student at school, always at the head of his class and won the love of teachers and schoolmates. He was smart and gentle, but of the class, a manly type that won the confidence and admiration.

His Bible School teach said of him, “Glen was a blessing in the class, always gave earnest attention to the lesson.”

He was taken with plural pneumonia, and for several days his life held in the balance. Loving hearts hoped on and willing hands did all that they could to win him back to health and to their hearts and plans for him, but at noon on November 29, 1918, his ------------ across the river into the presence of the Savior there to be eternal.

He has left us, but there lingers still the blessing and inspiration of his life. He only ---- there for our -----.

He was one of five children, his brothers and sisters, Floyd, Blanche, Doris and Frank, as well as the parents being left to mourn his departure from the family circle.

Funeral services were conducted from the home Sunday Dec. 4th at 10:30 a.m., Rev. Chas. Lescault officiating. Burial was in Earlham cemetery.
