Macksburg Items of Interest

Frank McKinzie died at the home of Mr. and Mrs. F. A. Bonham on Sunday, February 16th, after an illness of only a few days. Funeral services were held at the Baptist church on Tuesday afternoon, conducted by Rev. Thompson of Lorimor and burial was made in the Macksburg cemetery.

F. M. McKinzie

Francis Henry McKinzie, son of Aaron and Elizabeth McKinzie, was born October 16, 1868 in Madison county and died February 16, 1936 at Macksburg, aged 67 years 4 months.

He was married to Grace Martin in 1900. Four children were born to them, three sons and one daughter, Clair Aaron, Floyd H., Myrl and Muriel. Clair and Myrl died about sixteen years ago.

He was converted several years ago and united with the Christian church in Peru lived a consistent Christian life until the end.

He leaves his wife, two children, Floyd and Muriel of Kansas City, Missouri, four brothers and three sisters.
