Cassius Richmond Dies

Cassius Richmond, a native of Winterset, died at his home in Doniphan, Nebraska, last week.

Mr. Richmond was born in Winterset, in 1855, going to Nebraska as a young man. He homesteaded first at Greeley, living there eight years. Then he took a claim south of the Platte river in Hall county, where he was one of the first settlers in that territory.
