Death of Ralph Ernest Powell

Ralph Ernest Powell, sixteen year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Archie Powell, died at the Greater community hospital in Creston, last week, following three weeks illness with pneumonia and an infection.

The young man was born in this county, May 17, 1918. He had been attending the Cromwell high school and was taken to the Creston hospital for treatment.

He leaves his parents, two brothers, Raymond and Glen, a sister, Edna; his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. T. C. Powell of Creston and Mrs. Lucy Sheldon of Buckton, Missouri.

Relatives and friends here who drove to Creston last Friday to attend his funeral services were as follows: Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Jeffrys and Lloyd and Lenita Jeffrys; Mrs. Roan Adcock; Glen and Amy Adcock; Mrs. George Huston, Mrs. Olga Peters, Mr. and Mrs. Orra Berry and Mr. and Mrs. Omer Berry.
