Patterson—(Special)—Mrs. W. C. Fogler, popular young woman of this community, died at the Methodist hospital in Des Moines last Friday. A daughter, Olive Jane, who was born Friday also died.

Mrs. Fogler came to Patterson as a teacher in the high school. Following her marriage to W. C. Fogler several years ago, she and her husband established their home here. Word of her death came as a severe shock to her wide circle of friends here.

Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Patterson M. E. church.

Garmon, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Garmon, Mr. and Mrs. Dan Byers, Mrs. Lyle Rickabaugh, Mrs. Harry Linn, and Mr. and Mrs. Lynn McComb all of Des Moines, Mrs. E. Porter of Valley Junction, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Binns, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Comp, Mrs. Sadie Howell and daughters, Mr. and Mrs. E. Guilliams, Mrs. Delos Grout, Mrs. G. Greenwood, Mrs. Ben Hamilton and Mrs. Lucinda Lavalleur all of Winterset, Mrs. Hazel Clague of Earlham, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Vanatta of Peru, and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Mahan of Norwalk.
