Mrs. Harvey Saxton died at her home in Des Moines on Saturday, January 20th. Funeral services were held at Harbach funeral home at 11 o’clock Monday morning and the body brought here where short services were held and burial made in the Macksburg cemetery. The Saxtons were former residents of Macksburg.

Mrs. Mary J. Saxton, 84, of 5801 Woodland road, died Saturday at Iowa Lutheran hospital of pneumonia. She had been In the hospital for nearly two months suffering from a stroke and a broken hip.
Mrs. Saxton, widow of Harvey H. Saxton, was a native Iowan, having lived in Macksburg, la., most of her life. For the last few years she had been making her home with her only son, Burton H. Saxton of Des Moines. She was a member of Plymouth Congregational church.
Funeral services will be Monday at the Harbach funeral home with the Rev. Stoddard Lane officiating. Burial will be in Macksburg.
