Mrs. Bert Roby died Thursday morning at the J. F. Roby home, after several years' illness resulting from cancer.
The funeral occurred at the Christian church Saturday afternoon, conducted by the pastor, Rev. Thompson, and interment made in the Young cemetery.
She leaves to mourn her loss a husband, an eight year old son, other relatives and a host of friends. Her sister and aged father, who have been constant attendants at her bedside the past four weeks, left Saturday evening for their home in Lee county.
A. L. Creger and wife of Des Moines came Saturday to attend the funeral of Mrs. A. E. Roby, and remained until Monday visiting friends.
