The body of Harl Pyle of Booneville, Arkansas was brought here and short funeral services were held at the grave conducted by Rev. Phillips. Harl was the son of William V. and Emma Pyle and was born and raised here.

He leaves two sisters, Mrs. John Gartsey of Des Moines and Mrs. Salli Sullivan of Gary, Indiana, one brother Ralph of Des Moines, which were here for the services.

Note: Burial was made in the Moon cemetery.
