Earlham

Word was received here Thursday of the death of Mrs. Pike at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Margaret Slocum in New York state. The funeral will be held the last of the week at Adel. Mrs. Pike was the wife of Rev. Pike who was a minister of the Methodist church here several years ago. Rev. Pike passed away while he was pastor of the church here, and is buried in the Earlham cemetery.

Mrs. Anna Pike passed away at the age of 77 years in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Don Slocum, in Silver Town, New York, last Wednesday morning after a brief illness. Funeral services were held in the Methodist church in Adel, Sunday afternoon with interment in the Earlham cemetery.
