Page 1F. M. Hartzler Dies in California
F.M. Hartzler, who had been in business in Earlham for many years, died in California June 24. He had recently gone to California to attend the graduation of his grandson when he became ill. Mrs. Hartzler left by plan on June 23 for California to be with him.
Funeral services were held in California last Wednesday after which his body was sent to Indianola.

Frank Mervin Hartzler was born in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, and passed from this life June 17, 1957, in San Francisco, California.
His parents were Abraham and Fanny Hartzler.
Frank Hartzler was a jeweler and watch maker all of his life and was in business in Earlham for 37 years.
He leaves to mourn his passing his wife, Alice, his daughter, Louise Kukula, her husband, their three children, his four sisters and brother of Indianola.
Interment was July 4, 1957 at Indianola, Iowa.
