Dallas Keith Keesler, son of Harold M. and Florence Bennett Keesler, died in Madison County Memorial Hospital August 11, 1972 at the age of 46 years, 2 months and 26 days.
He was born on a farm near Macksburg, May 16, 1926 and with the exception of about 15 years, he resided in the Lorimor community all of his lifetime.
He served in the Armed Forces during World War II and he worked as a letter carrier in Des Moines until he suffered a severe disability from an auto accident several years ago.
He was a member of the Union Park United Methodist Church in Des Moines.
He is survived by one daughter from Des Moines, two sons, ----- with the Marine Corps and Brian of Des Moines, his mother, Mrs. Florence Keesler of Lorimor, two sisters, Geraldine of Lorimor and Neva---------, brothers, Wayne from Sac City and Carol in the U.S.A.F. in Japan. He was preceded in death by his father, Harold, and one sister Marjorie.
The funeral, conducted by Rev. Russell Hart, was held at the United Methodist Church in Lorimor on August 14 at 2:00 p.m. The burial was made in the Moon Cemetery at Macksburg.
