Lorene Thelma Neal, 95, of Bishop Drumm Care Center, 5837 Winwood Drive, Johnston, died of complications of a stroke there Thursday. The body will be cremated and memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Bishop Drumm Care Center Chapel. Private family burial of the cremains will be at a later date.

Mrs. Neal was born in New Virginia and had lived in the Des Moines area since 1944. She was a homemaker and a member of Grace United Methodist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, JoAnn Neal of Des Moines; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to Bishop Drumm Care Center. Arrangements are being handled by Westover Funeral Home.

Note: Burial was made in the St. Charles cemetery.
