Kelly Gutshall, 86, passed away June 29, 2004 at Winterset Care Center South surrounded by his family. Graveside services will be 11 a.m., Friday, July 2 at Union Chapel Cemetery near Booneville. Visitation will begin at 3 p.m. Thursday at the Van Meter Methodist Church. Family will greet friends from 5 to 7 p.m.

Kelly was born to Max and Marguerite Gutshall on March 29, 1918. He was preceded in death by his wife Earlene, and two brothers, Wayne and Robert. He is survived by two daughters, Joyce MacDougall of Van Meter and Gayla Wisnieski of Winterset; a brother, J. Paul Gutshall, a sister, Gretchen Cartwright; four grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.

Kelly was a beloved father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was a farmer and loved baseball, horseback riding and gardening. He was a member of the Van Meter School Board and on the Dallas County Zoning Board and on the Bob Feller Museum Board.
