Metro Page 5Gladys A. Anderson, 84, of Genesis Senior Living Center died of a kidney ailment there Sunday. Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. today at Clark Cemetery in Winterset.
Mrs. Anderson was born in Macksburg and had lived in Illinois before moving to Des Moines three years ago. She was a retired factory worker with Ramels Co. in Waukegan, Ill., and enjoyed reading and working in her yard.
Two sisters, Thelma Allen and Wilma Penny, both of Des Moines, survive. She was preceded in death by her husband, Merle.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family. Southtown Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
